COLLAGEN / FAT

Operation: The two most common forms of
collagen are Zyplast and Restylane. Zyplast is a highly
purified animal based collagen and Restylane is a non-animal
based collagen. They are both used to plump up creased,
furrowed, or sunken facial lines as well as add fullness
to lips and smile lines.
Operation Time (estimate): This procedure
takes 15 minutes to 1 hour per session.
Anesthesia/Pain Control: For the Restylane
a topical anesthetic is used.
Location: This is an outpatient procedure
that requires no downtime.
Side effects (Possible): During this procedure
you may experience temporary stinging, throbbing, or burning
sensation. As well as faint redness, swelling, or excess
fullness.
Complications (Possible): Contour irregularities
or infection are possible for both forms of collagen. Possible
complications for the Zyplast include allergic reactions
such as rashes, hives, swelling, or flu-like symptoms. There
may be a possible triggering of connective tissue or autoimmune
diseases. This is why a skin test is required before treatment
for this form of collagen. Restylane does not require a
skin test.
Duration of Results: Results vary from

SPIDER VEIN REMOVAL
Operation: This procedure uses state of
the art lasers and injection therapy to eliminate spider
veins (also known as varicose veins).
Operation Time (estimate): The procedure
takes about 30 minutes depending on the amount of veins

CHEMICAL PEEL
Use: This procedure restores wrinkled,
blemished, unevenly pigmented, or sun-damaged facial skin
using a chemical solution to peel away the skin's top layers.
It works best on fair, thin skin with superficial wrinkles.
Peel Time (estimate): This procedure takes
about 30-60 minutes for the whole face.
Anesthesia/Pain Control: No anesthesia

Side effects (Possible): Patients may experience

Downtime: There is no downtime associated
with the Glycolic Peel. The TCA peel has a recommended downtime
